|Also Known As||Keeper of the Shape|
Lady of Infinite Repose
The Witch in Glass
|Occupation||Ruler of 111,111 universes|
Jadis is entombed in glass, her body rotting away after being twisted from witnessing the Shape of the Universe. Because the event granted her unerring knowledge of the future, she is, in fact, omniscient.
As the embodiment of sloth, Jadis simply does almost nothing, but struggle to even whisper her prophecies while having her servants translate the rest to the best of their abilities.
Jadis only speaks in whispers behind her mask and not much else. Though not much can be sensed in her personality, she sincerely wishes to die.
At one point before entering Throne, Jadis was mentored by her father, though she killed him at a young age. By the end of the Universal War, she stood victorious with six other demiurges and was bestowed the title of "Lord of Infinity". She eventually helped establish the Pact of the Seven Part World, an agreement that carved the multiverse into seven pieces, one for each victor.
At the concordance of the demiurges, Jadis is seen encased in glass, whispering about the prophecy of a new successor of Zoss destined to kill them all, which her interpreters helped translate to the rest of the demiurges.
- Like the rest of the Seven, Jadis is based on the seven deadly sins of Christianity. Since her motif is light blue, she represents Sloth.
- Jadis is the most knowing of any character in the comic, having witnessed the Shape of the Universe.
- Jadis, before her entombment, was once considered the second most powerful of the demiurges, now she is barely more powerful than Mammon, the weakest demiurge.
